I have a stock HEI ignition system should I upgrade?

1978 Chevy Silverado with a 350. The engine has had some upgrades Edelbrock four barrel, K&N air filter, Headman Headers, RV cam, after market fuel pump. Stock one just wasn’t giving it the fuel it needed. Also a 2" Carb spacer. It pushes about 250hp. Will I gain anything buy upgrading or will the factory Distributor handle it.
It also was a set of Taylor plug wires

TP Filter VS. Compressed Air Dryer?

I do normal body work out of my 2 car garage. I use tools such as a 6" D/A Sander, Inline Board Sander, 1/2" Drive Impact Wrench, Sand Blaster, DeVilbiss HVLP Spray Gun, and a Media Spot Blaster. I currently have a Campbell Hausfeild 60 Gallon Compressor, and have terrible problems with water in my lines. I have a water trap that does absolutely nothing. I am now getting a spare 10 gallon tank for the air/water to travel to first, then am going to get either one of those Toilet Paper water filters, or am looking at a DeVilbiss Desiccant Filter/Compressed Air Dryer. Any opinions on which would work best? The TP Filter is about 80 bucks, and the air dryer will be about 250. Which is better or are there any first hand users?
I will be moving my 2nd tank away from the compressor/tank when I get one. Along with the filter or dryer. I just need to know which one to get.
And I currently drain the water from the main tank about every 30 minutes of use.

SVO conversion for collection/filtering on the road?

Im looking to convert a Van or small RV to run on straight vegetable oil. What sort of setup will I need for running/collecting waste veggie oil "on the road"? I know its nearly impossible for the oil to settle while on the move. Will I need a centrifuge filtration system on-board to separate out the water and filter down the oil? I know greasecar sells a "on-board" filter kit seen at http://www.greasecar.com/product_detail.cfm?prodID=9 but does that separate out the water as well?
